| Signup/Installation |
- Complete and sign the High Speed Internet Service Request form. The form can
be picked up at the KCTC office. After the completed and signed form is returned
to KCTC, you will be put on a list for installation and minor rewiring (if requested).
- A KCTC technician will rewire your NID.
- The selected telephone jack will need to be reconfigured for
High Speed Internet service.
You will need to be present if professional rewiring is requested. You will be
contacted by KCTC, if necessary, to schedule the professional installation.
This is an upgrade to your existing KCTC telephone service;
telephone service is required for a High Speed Internet connection. KCTC High Speed Internet service is subject
to state and federal regulations. The service is limited to the physical plant
location to which it is connected, any transmission, resale distribution, or sharing
of the connection or service outside that premises is prohibited and subject to
disconnect. KCTC routinely monitors usage patterns of customers to determine online
productivity as well as to plan and manage network resources.
