KCTC Quarantine Support
A report of your quarantined e-mail is sent to
your inbox at regular intervals. This report is generated if your e-mail account
has received spam, a virus or a forbidden attachment which has accordingly been
withheld from your inbox.
A Quarantine Report (see sample below) shows you
information about the e-mail that has been sent to your personal Quarantine Folder
since your last report, as well as information about the e-mail that is currently
in your Quarantine. Please note: You will only receive a Quarantine Report
if you have messages in your Quarantine Folder at the time the report is generated.

Releasing Quarantined E-mail from the Quarantine Report
1. Open your Quarantine Report e-mail.
2. Click the "Release" link to the right of
the corresponding e-mail.
3. (OPTIONAL) Adding Quarantined E-mail to your Trusted
Sender List. To add a released e-mail to your Trusted Sender List,
click the hyperlink labeled "Here" in the pop-up window.

A new pop-up window will appear stating that the e-mail you
released from the Quarantine has been added to your Trusted Sender List.
4. Close the pop-up window. Check for new messages and
the released e-mail will now appear in your inbox.
*If you release an e-mail containing a forbidden attachment,
it will be sent to the anti-virus scanning server. Thus, it is possible that the
e-mail gets quarantined again, and cannot be released through the report.
Deleting All Quarantined E-mail from the Quarantine Report
*
1. Open your Quarantine Report e-mail.
2. Click the "Delete All Spam" link at the
bottom of the Quarantine Report.
* It is not necessary to delete spam messages from
your Quarantine report. Messages in your Quarantine do NOT count against your
e-mail box quota. All messages in your Quarantine are automatically purged after
5 days.
Changing the Interval at which Quarantine Reports are Generated
Quarantine Reports can be configured to be sent daily, weekly
or not at all (see illustration below). To change the report interval, log in
to your KCTC WebMail (http://webmail.kctc.net)
account, click "Settings" then click "Quarantine Reporting Options."

Quarantine Reports can be generated every 1 day
up to every 15 days by choosing from the drop-down menu. To turn off Quarantine
Reports, simply uncheck the box. Remember to click "Save" when you are
finished making changes.
